Managing Attorney: Mary Beth Gettins has served as general and franchise counsel for numerous brands including Ameristop, Handyman Connection, and Pearle Vision. She earned her bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Cincinnati and her law degree from Chase College of Law. She serves as treasurer and voluntary attorney for Harlequin Haven Great Dane Rescue. Mary Beth is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising.

Of-Counsel: Barry Nelson has practiced law with a large firm, served as in-house counsel for national franchise systems, operated his own service franchise, and counseled both franchisors and franchisees. Barry earned an accounting degree from Northern Kentucky University and a law degree from Vanderbilt Law School. He is a member of the American, Ohio State, Cincinnati, and Clermont County Bar Associations, as well as the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising. He also serves as president of the Board of Trustees of CASA for Clermont Kids.
